Menicon Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 21-19 Aoi 3, Naka-ku, Nagoya, Director, President and CEO: Koji Kawaura) announced that in July 2025 the name of its subsidiary in China, “Wenzhou FocuSee Vision Care Technologies Co., Ltd. (温州欣視界科技有限公司)” (Address: Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, Representative: Sun Zhengji) which manufactures contact lenses, was changed to “Menicon (Wenzhou) Co., Ltd. (目立康（温州）医療科技有限公司)” (hereinafter referred to as "Menicon Wenzhou").
As a manufacturing base for oxygen-permeable RGP lenses and specialized contact lenses in China, Menicon Wenzhou has been providing high-quality contact lenses to many customers with prompt delivery, in cooperation with Wenzhou Medical University, one of the largest ophthalmology institutions in China. In recent years, it has also served as the only manufacturing base in China for ROSE K products, which are internationally recognized by eye care professionals as specialized lenses suitable for irregular corneal conditions, including keratoconus.
Through this change, we aim to enhance awareness of the Menicon brand, further strengthen the development and growth of our business in the Chinese market, and foster a stronger sense of unity as the Menicon Group.
