Since our founder Kyoichi Tanaka succeeded in the development of the first corneal contact lens in Japan in 1951, we have been providing the joy of sight to everyone by safe and secure products as well as services as a core of our contact lens business.

Putting the health and safety of the eyes of contact lens users first, we launched the MELS Plan in 2001 to have users continue to use high-quality contact lenses in a better condition. Since then, we have kept expanding the types of lenses as well as services and accumulated 1.33 million members.

Our efforts to control the progression of myopia

In recent years, the number of people wth myopia has increased worldwide and has become a major social problem. It is projected that approximately half of the world's population will have myopia by 2050. Faced with this situation, a comprehensive solution is needed.
