Astigmatism is a highly prevalent condition worldwide. Among potential contact lens wearers, 54.1% have been reported to have astigmatism of - 0.75 D or more in at least one eye1).
Axis orientation plays an important role in visual performance, particularly in oblique astigmatism. When left uncorrected, oblique astigmatism has been shown to reduce visual acuity, reading acuity, and other aspects of vision more than with the rule astigmatism or against the rule astigmatism2,3).
With expanded axis availability, Miru 1day UpSide toric can now support a wider range of patient needs, helping to deliver better and more stable vision across diverse astigmatic profiles.
Miru 1day UpSide toric has the following design features:
1.Enhanced Visiostable DesignTM for greater visual stability
The lens shape is designed to match the natural shape of the eye. This helps provide clear, stable, and comfortable vision.
2.Smart TouchTM for easy and hygienic handling
This smart packaging keeps the lens the right way up in the blister case. It also helps avoid touching the inner surface of the lens, making handling cleaner and easier.
3.MeniSilk™ Air and NanoGloss™ Pro
Miru 1day UpSide uses an ultra-low modulus silicone hydrogel material, designed for both comfort and eye health. With MeniSilk™ Air for hydration and NanoGloss™ Pro for a smooth, low-friction surface, it supports comfortable daily wear.
We hope this enhancement will support your efforts in delivering better vision to even more patients, especially those with less commonly corrected astigmatic axes.
Thank you for your continued support.
