Our top priority is the health and safety of our customers' eyes. The R&D Center was founded in 1995 to integrate our research departments, and our cutting edge research encompasses the following fields.

Basic research
We are conducting basic and applied R&D to develop new contact lens materials, lens care products and intraocular lenses. We are also working on future medical treatments.

Product development
We are dedicated to developing and applying synthesized materials for new lenses. Our efforts encompass material analysis and performance evaluations as well as lens prototyping.


   

Safety evaluations
Our R&D efforts focus on producing exceptionally safe products. The biological safety and effectiveness of contact lenses and intraocular lenses are evaluated at the call and tissue level.

Clinical evaluations
We work together with doctors at university hospitals and medical institutes worldwide to ensure the safety and corrective effects of our lenses. We also examine lens care products and care systems.
