Keratoconus and contact lenses

What is a keratoconus ?

Keratoconus is a deformation of the cornea which thins gradually and loses its normal spherical shape. Then, it takes an irregular cone shape.

This distortion causes problems as blurred vision, distorted distance vision, poor distance vision.

This cornea's distortion requires to wear specialized contact lenses.

Keratoconus usually affects both eyes, but not with the same severity.

Which kind of contact lenses ?

Menicon offers many geometries adapted to the evolution of keratoconus. Lenses are in Z material to allow an intake of maximal oxygen to your eyes.
