Menicon to Introduce World's Thinnest Daily Disposable Contact Lens Flat Pack

Initial rollout in Japan heralds new convenience and functionality for contact lens wearers.

NAGOYA, Japan, November, 01.- Menicon Co., Ltd. announced today "Magic," a daily disposable contact lens packaged in a revolutionary wafer-thin and exceptionally hygienic flat-pack, which will be introduced at the company's Magic Store concept shop in Tokyo, Japan on November 7. Nationwide marketing in Japan will begin next spring.

Menicon will sponsor X-Alps race 2011

X-Alps 2011 race is an amazing paraglide competition located in the European Alps, starting in Salzburg and finishing in Monaco.

The race will start from Mozartplace in Salzburg on the 17th july.

X-Alps 2011 is an “extreme sport” mixed with strategy. Only 32 athletes have been selected to compete in this race sponsored by Red Bull.

The maximum time allowed for finishing the event will be 20 days, but when the first competitor reaches the finish, the race will terminate 2 days later. Only those that arrive within the additional 48 hours will be counted as having completed the X-Alps race.
